At Verona Flowers, we strive to ensure your floral arrangements are delivered promptly and in perfect condition. Below is our comprehensive shipping and delivery policy to guide you through the process.
1. Delivery Coverage
- Local Delivery Area: We offer same-day delivery within a 35-mile radius of our store in Glendale, California.
- Extended Delivery: For locations outside this radius, please contact us to confirm availability.
2. Same-Day Delivery
- Eligibility: Orders placed before 3:00 PM (Pacific Time) are eligible for same-day delivery.
- After-Hours Orders: Orders placed after 3:00 PM will be scheduled for the next business day, unless special arrangements are confirmed.
3. Delivery Schedule
- Standard Delivery Window: Deliveries are made between 12:00 PM and 8:00 PM, Monday through Sunday.
- Time-Specific Deliveries: For event-specific or time-sensitive deliveries, please contact us in advance to verify availability. Without a time-specific delivery fee, we adhere to our standard schedule and cannot guarantee requested times. We appreciate your understanding.
- Holiday Considerations: During peak holidays (e.g., Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Christmas), delivery times may vary due to high demand. We recommend ordering at least 48 hours in advance.
4. Delivery Charges
- Fee Structure: A delivery fee, based on the recipient’s location, is calculated during checkout.
- Additional Fees: Rush deliveries or those outside our standard delivery zone may incur extra charges.
5. Recipient Availability
- If Recipient Is Unavailable: Our driver will attempt to leave the flowers in a safe, secure location (e.g., with a neighbor or in a shaded area near the entrance).
- Delivery Notification: You will be notified via email or phone upon completion of the delivery.
- Second Attempt: If a safe location is not available, a second delivery attempt will incur an additional charge.
6. Address Accuracy
- Customer Responsibility: You must provide an accurate and complete delivery address.
- Incorrect Address: A $30 re-delivery fee will apply if an incorrect address leads to a failed delivery attempt.
7. Special Delivery Instructions
- Providing Instructions: Include any specific instructions (e.g., gate codes, apartment numbers, or preferred times) during checkout or by contacting our customer service team.
- Accommodation: We will make every effort to follow special instructions, subject to feasibility.
8. Delivery Confirmation
- Notification: You will receive confirmation via email or text once the delivery is successfully completed.
9. Delivery Restrictions
- PO Boxes: We do not deliver to PO Boxes.
- Restricted Locations: For deliveries to restricted-access areas (e.g., hospitals, military bases, office buildings), you must ensure access or notify the recipient to accept delivery at a designated entrance.
10. Non-Delivery Situations
- Unforeseen Circumstances: If delivery is not possible due to factors beyond our control (e.g., severe weather, recipient unavailability), we will contact you to reschedule or offer a refund.
